Olympus Mons (Mars) topography from Mars Global Surveyor MOLA data. Olympus Mons is the tallest volcano in the solar system, towering over 26km tall. Note the beginnings of the Valles Marineris Canyon at the top of the image, also one of the solar system's largest at over 4000km long and 7km deep at points. Rendered using GRASS GIS's NVIZ visualization tool.
