I am a PhD in Design student at North Carolina State University with a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Master of Philosophy in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford. I am a member of the NCSU Open Source Geospatial Research and Education Lab in the Center for Geospatial Analytics and am part of the team developing Tangible Landscape, a tangible interface powered by GRASS GIS that couples a physical landscape model with a digital model through a real-time cycle of 3d scanning, geospatial analytics, and projection. By physically manifesting data we hope to make geospatial modeling more intuitive and creative.
