Georgina M. Sanchez earned her Ph.D. in Forestry and Environmental Resources with a minor in Geographic Information Systems from NC State University. Georgina completed her master’s degree in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering from Michigan State University and her undergraduate education in Agriculture Engineering from the University of Costa Rica. Georgina’s research explores the complex and dynamic interactions between natural and human systems through geospatial analytics.
