I’m an argentinean biologist, with a PhD in Biology and a MS degree in GIS and Remote Sensing (RS). I’m mostly interested in GIS and RS applications for public health and environmental emergencies. In 2013, I did an internship at PGIS (Trento, Italy) and ever since then I’ve become a GRASS GIS and FOSS fan. I’ve mostly worked with temporal modules of GRASS GIS and recently, I’ve started doing some RS-GIS consultancy and teaching basic and advanced GRASS GIS workshops/courses. At the moment, I work as a researcher at the Earth Observation Sciences Department in ITC - University of Twente (Enschede, The Netherlands).
