Specially called budget planning meeting for 2025

• Anna shared the budget planning spreadsheet
• Vashek cloned the 2024 spreadsheet and we start from there
• GRASS income:
  • OSGeo: we asked for USD 5k, but we got USD 2.5k
  • Opencollective: we get an average of USD 500 per year
  • GSoC money: USD 1500 siting with OSGeo (permanent)
• Explanation of budget planning and general budget management.
• Dev Summit 2025: we do not plan to request money to OSGeo, because POSE will cover most of it. We have a donor for dev's fuel too :)
• Representative in AGM: we can budget smg like 3.5k and add a note that we might have someone more local so that the costs might be lower (intercontinental travel).
• Representatives to OSGeo code-sprint (within continent travel).
• Student grants: we keep it to 4, but we must promote it more. It is usually complicated for US international students as they risk their visas.
• Community grants: members of the community that apply with a specific plan.
• Marketing and Social Media: this includes Publer
• The actual request to OSGeo will be part of the total for each item.
