Q: I'm trying to do a surface interpolation and it takes a long while (a big data set). Since the program doesn't run on backgroud, what would happen to my calculations if I changed the region while it's running?
A: Probably nothing, but I would necessarily bank on it... Most programs will read in the region near the beginning. If the WIND file changes after this point, it won't matter. But there's no guarantee that all modules behave this way...
