XVI Meeting degli Utenti Italiani di GRASS GFOSS
The XVI Meeting degli Utenti Italiani di GRASS GFOSS is the Italian conference about GRASS GIS and GFOSS software.
This year the meeting will be held on February 19th in Bologna.
Purpose
The conference this year will be similar to a Bar Camp. It will have a session for presentations, a session for workshop and another session for code sprint, translation and other activities.
Agenda
Conference session (Aula 6, 9:30am - 5:30pm)
During the morning we will have introduction to Geospatial Free and Open Source Software, immediately after there will be free space for lighting talk (5-10 minutes talk).
Whoever would like to present or ask assistance for his GRASS / GFOSS project (developed or of developement) will be welcome.

Workshop session (Laboratorio di Informatica, 10:00am - 5:30pm)
There will be two workshop, base level:
- QGIS base level (10:00 am -1:00 pm, 23 people): Introduction to QGIS and practice exercises, tutorials for beginners. Teacher: Alessandro Lambertini (Università di Bologna)
- GRASS GIS base level (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, 23 people): Introduction to GRASS GIS and practice exercises, tutorials for beginners. Teachers: Roberta Fagandini (Gter), Roberto Marzocchi (Gter), Paolo Zatelli (Università di Trento)
